On February 27, 2023, Aim Texas Consultants, in response to the Expression of Interest by the Municipal Mayor’s Office of the Central District (AMDC), participated in a consultancy tender for the provision of services related to the “Study and Design of Hydraulic Sectors and Program for the Reduction of Non-Revenue Water (ANF) in the El Picacho, Los Laureles and La Concepcion systems and Diagnosis of the main causes of water loss in the sectors” under the Project to Strengthen the Provision of Drinking Water in Tegucigalpa. This project is associated with IDA (WB) Credit- 6460-HN with Reference number of HN-AMDC-330517. Aim Texas Consultants formed a joint venture with WAPCOS Ltd. from India for this tender. Additionally, ESA Consultores S.A. de C.V. from Honduras is engaged as a sub-consultant to Aim Texas Trading, LLC, based in the USA.
The Municipal Government of the Central District (AMDC) has received financing from the World Bank to cover the cost of the Project to Strengthen Tegucigalpa’s drinking water services and intends to apply part of the funds to the contracting of consulting services.
The main objective of this project is to have the assistance of an international Consulting Firm to carry out the studies and designs of hydraulic sectors (sectorization) in selected areas of the drinking water distribution network of Tegucigalpa, in the subsystems El Picacho, Los Laureles and La Concepción; and, the elaboration of a strategy for the Reduction of Water Losses and Non-Revenue Water (ANF) aimed at increasing the efficiency and reliability of water supply services in the selected areas (the Development Objective of the Project financed by the World Bank).
