The Aim Texas Overseas Management Group’s (AIMOMG) Kyrgyz Republic representation has attended to the consultancy tender for Osh Water Phase II Project Implementation Support with the reference and Project number of 1704. in August 24, 2015 in Kyrgyzstan.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is working with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the City of Osh and the Osh Water Company (the “Company” or the “Client”) to continue the investments to improve the municipal water supply service (the “Project”). In 2011 the  EBRD  signed a loan agreement with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic for a loan  to be on-lent to the Osh City for the benefit of the  Company for the implementation of the Project Water and Wastewater Rehabilitation in the City of Osh – Phase I. Phase 1 was co-financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (“SECO”) and aimed at the rehabilitation of existing water supply infrastructure, installation of water meters, extension of sewerage system and Waste Water Treatment Plant’s rehabilitation, to improve water supply services in the City).

The City and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic have now asked the Bank to prepare an investment project (“Osh Water II project”) covering additional priority investments that are not covered under the Phase I including supplementary renovation of the Company’s wastewater treatment plant, supply and installation of household water meters in two areas of Osh city (HBK and Jugovostok) and refurbishment of remaining old pumping stations not covered by the Phase I.

The Client now intends to engage a consulting company to support the Client in the timely and effective implementation of the  Osh Water II -project, which also envisage support in reviewing and preparation design, as applicable, and all aspects of procurement and disbursement.

The expected outcome of the Assignment is successful procurement of works and goods in accordance with the EBRD procurement rules

The  Consultant is expected to provide the following services:

  • Overall Osh Water II project management support;
  • Design the works and prepare technical specifications for goods;
  • Procurement of goods, works and services under the Osh Water II project;
  • Technical supervision;
  • Arrangement of timely disbursements under the contracts with suppliers of goods, works and services under the Osh Water II project.
