Aim Texas’ project team has successfully finished and submitted the draft Feasibility Studies and Short-Term Plan for the establishment of the Integrated Solid Waste Management System (ISWMS) in Sint Maarten in early January 2020. Consequently, a high-level workshop has been scheduled by the World Bank team and the Sint Maarten Government to review and discuss the draft outputs prepared by Aim Texas consultants regarding the feasibility studies and the Short-Term Plan. This workshop is set to take place in Sint Maarten during the week of January 27 – 31, 2020.
The workshop successfully conducted, attending of relevant Sint Maarten Government officials, World Bank project team and Aim Texas consultants. Netherlands Government’s representatives are also attended at workshop as observers. Aim Texas consultants has successfully presented and discussed the concepts of the feasibility studies and Short-Term Plan in the workshop, and responded the questions of the attendants in detail on the technical drawings.
