Aim Texas Overseas Management Group (AIMOMG) has attended a tender in joint Venture with EMTA Project Engineering Consulting Ltd. (JV member), Turkey in cooperation with KALI Energy Solutions – Training & Consulting, Turkey (Sub-consultant), whereas Aim Texas is the Lead Consultant in providing consultancy services for Consultancy Services for Preparation of Integrated Urban Water Management Plan (IUWMP) for:

 GROUP1 (Mugla, Mardin) (Ref. No. IB-A1.C2/1)
 GROUP2 (Antalya, Van) (Ref. No. IB-A1.C2/2)
 GROUP3 (Balikesir, Denizli, Ordu), (Ref. No. IB-A1.C2/3)
 GROUP4 (Kahramanmaras, Malatya, Kayseri) (Ref. No. IB-A1.C2/4)

The Republic of Turkey has been allocated grant funds from the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Trust Fund which are administered by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and executed by the ILBANK (“Recipient”). ILBANK intends to apply the funds to eligible payments for the consultant services (“the Services”) to prepare integrated urban water management plans for ten (10) selected Municipalities/Water and Waste Water Utilities under Group-1 (Mugla, Mardin), Group-2 (Antalya, Van), Group-3 (Balikesir, Denizli, Ordu), Group-4 (Kahramanmaras, Malatya, Kayseri) that will cover the following tasks:
i. Review and Assessment of the Socio-Cultural and Economic Conditions and Existing Spatial and Sectoral Plans and Strategy Documents and Legal and Institutional Framework for integrated urban water management,
ii. Assessment of the whole metropolitan municipality in terms of water, wastewater and solid waste related services considering population change, future water demands and taking into account sustainable development,
iii. Detailed diagnosis of the Water System for Selected Area(s)/District(s) within the central city (Drinking Water System, Wastewater System, Storm Water System, Industrial Wastewater, Sludge Treatment and Disposal, Solid Waste System, and other services which have major impact on water resources depending on city characteristics),
iv. Preparation of an Integrated Urban Water Management Strategy for the whole metropolitan municipality and a specific Integrated Urban Water Management Plan (IUWMP) for the Selected/Area or District(s) of the city.
ILBANK intends to award the services to be implemented under 10 (ten) separate contracts with their respective municipalities/water and wastewater utilities. The estimated duration of services is 15 (fifteen) calendar months.
