Aim Texas Overseas Management Group (Lead Consultant), USA, and ICP Ingenieurgesellschaft Prof. Czurda und Partner mbH (Associate Consultant), Germany Joint Venture, have been shortlisted to develop National Waste Management Strategy with short, middle, and long-term Action Plan, Feasibility Study, and Investment Plans by Azerbaijan Ministry of Economy and Industry in August 07, 2014. The project is a World Bank funded project.

The stipulated work tasks and activity descriptions shown below will also serve as a basis for monitoring and measuring the Consultant’s performance in achieving the intent and objectives of this assignment.
- Develop and present a Consultancy Inception Plan
- Coordination and Communication with National Strategy Advisory Committee
- Gather information and data on solid waste management systems in the project area (whole Country)
- Development and Presentation of National Strategy Concept Paper, developing technical and enabling frameworks for the improved system, and package scenarios
- Preparation of Feasibility Study for the project area both in local level and national level
- Preparation of Regional Investment Plans
- Preparation of National Solid Waste Management Strategy and Action Plans
- Arranging of National and Regional Conferences
